Print@Deakin - How to check your print balance

How to check your print balance

1. Ensure that you are directly connected to Deakin’s network either through a network cable or via Wi-Fi (Eduroam)

2. Head to https://print.deakin.edu.au/ and login using your Deakin username and password.

3. Details of your print history is shown once you have logged in, such as your balance, print jobs and total pages printed.

Print balance

Each month, all students will have their print balance reset to its original value.

Print cost

Size Colour Greyscale Colour Duplex Greyscale Duplex
A3 $0.50 $0.25 $1.00 $0.50
A4 $0.30 $0.10 $0.60 $0.20

Important Note: Printing in greyscale/black and white allows you to make best use of your monthly printing credit.

A low balance email will be sent to notify you when the print quota has reached 75%.

When the print quota is reached, when you attempt to release a print job, a message will be displayed on the printer's display showing, "Unable to release your print jobs".

What if you have issues with your print balance?

If you have a specific reason you will need to exceed your printing quota to enable your studies, such as part of your Access Plan, allowances can be made through the IT Help Desk.

As always, the IT Service Desk is available to assist you with your Deakin specific IT issues. Please submit a ticket, initiate a chat online, or give them a call if you get stuck.

We will continue to review the printing limit in line with Deakin’s sustainability goals.
