How to Unsubscribe from a ServiceNow notification
There are two ways for a user to unsubscribe from a ServiceNow email notification:
From an email notification that contains an 'Unsubscribe' link
- Open an email that you received for the specific notification that you wish to unsubscribe from (for example 'Incident assigned to me').
- Click on the Unsubscribe link located at the bottom of the email.
- A predefined email reply will open, do not modify the contents - click Send.
How to Resubscribe to a ServiceNow notification
In this example, we will resubscribe to the Incident assigned to me notification.
- Log in to ServiceNow.
- Click on the Settings (Cog) icon located in the top right corner.
- Click on Notifications.
- Scroll down to listed categories under Notifications by Category.
- Click on the Incident category.
- Click on the Incident assigned to me notification.
- Click on the switch located next to primary_email to turn the notification on (resubscribe).
