Introduction

Our newly refreshed teaching spaces are using Crestron processors to control our audiovisual systems. This knowledge base article details how to use the Crestron touch panel to control PC/AV Integration.

PC/AV Integration is the process of sending video and audio from the AV system to the room PC via USB. The incoming video is commonly set to the presenter's camera and the audio is a mix of all microphones. The PC sees the video and audio as USB peripheral devices which can be used by video conferencing software using Zoom, Teams, WebEx etc.

The Crestron controlled PC/AV Integration design allows for audio from all microphones and any video source connected to the AV system to be sent to the PC.

When available in a teaching space, PC/AV Integration can be used to provide a blended environment, students can attend in person or connect to the class using the chosen video conferencing software solution
