It's better practice to share a link to a database's record in the Library's A-Z Databases list rather than a direct link to the database itself.

This will ensure that users first see key information, such as a platform's access terms and conditions, limits, and special requirements. It also means you won't need to update links if a database provider changes a URL as these will be updated 'globally' by the Library. 

To obtain the link to a specific database title in the A-Z databases list, click on the blue chain icon on its record page. You can then copy and paste the URL from the address bar.
