Reserva 'Booking Confirmation' Feature

This article has been produced to explain the use of the Reserva 'Confirm' (check-in) feature.

This feature is designed to enable better space utilisation by releasing rooms from bookings when attendees have not confirmed their meeting upon arrival at the room.

Usage Instructions

  1. Appointments are made in the room calendar in Exchange via Outlook as per normal.

  2. When participants arrive at the room, the Reserva panel will appear as per the image below.



    The Orange button prompting for confirmation of the appointment can clearly be seen here.

  3. Confirmation is achieved by simply tapping the 'Confirm' Button on the Reserva display itself.

    Confirmation can occur in the 5 minutes prior and 15 minutes after the commencement of the appointment.

  4. When the Confirmation button is pressed it will disappear, and the appointment will remain for the booked period.

  5. If the appointment is not confirmed within the above time-frame, the booking will be automatically removed from the rooms Exchange calendar and the meeting room will be shown as available.
