Using Microsoft Windows App in the Web Client


Apps and Desktops Anywhere (ADA) works best when you install Microsoft Windows App on your computer. Without the helper app, a number of features may be limited or unavailable, including:

If you cannot install Microsoft Windows App, you can use apps within your browser.

Requirements

 

Getting Started with Windows App web client

  1. Log into the Windows App web client using your Deakin credentials: https://windows.cloud.microsoft/

  2. In the sidebar, click Apps.

  3. Click an app to open it.

  4. If you're prompted for In Session Settings, accept the defaults, then click Connect.

  5. The app loads in your browser.

Switch apps using the icons in the top left corner, or start another app using the + icon.

Use the icons in the top right corner to go full screen, transfer files, change resolutions or see tips about keyboard shortcuts.
