Apps and Desktops Anywhere (ADA) works best when you install Microsoft Windows App on your computer. Without the helper app, a number of features may be limited or unavailable, including:

• Copy and paste between your device and the remote app will be limited to basic text.
  • Rich content and large clipboard data may not work.
  • Files cannot be copy/pasted between local and remote file systems, although file transfer is available.
• Redirected drives and other peripherals will not be available.

If you cannot install Microsoft Windows App, you can use apps within your browser.

 

Requirements

• A modern browser: Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari (Mac only), Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

 

Getting Started with Windows App web client

1. Log into the Windows App web client using your Deakin credentials: https://windows.cloud.microsoft/
   
   
2. In the sidebar, click Apps.
   
   
   
3. Click an app to open it.
   
   
4. If you're prompted for In Session Settings, accept the defaults, then click Connect.
   
   
   
5. The app loads in your browser.

Switch apps using the icons in the top left corner, or start another app using the + icon.

Use the icons in the top right corner to go full screen, transfer files, change resolutions or see tips about keyboard shortcuts.
