This article is a support homepage for Palo Alto GlobalProtect Client Zero Trust Network Access(ZTNA)/Virtual Private Network (VPN), which is used to establish a secure connection to Deakin's network in order to access file drives or services at home.
Please review the information below to find the article that corresponds to your needs.
When do I need to use the VPN? On Deakin-managed computers, GlobalProtect is pre-installed and will usually connect automatically when you first sign in to your device. If your computer is put to sleep, powered off, or remains inactive for an extended period, GlobalProtect may disconnect. In these cases, you will need to manually reconnect to GlobalProtect. Manual connection is otherwise only required in specific situations where access to certain Deakin resources requires a ZTNA/VPN connection.
