What browser should I use?

You must use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to sit your exam with Integrity Advocate.

The use of other web browsers is not recommended by Deakin when sitting an Integrity Advocate assessment

 

I couldn't start Proctorio 

Your exam is not using Proctorio, but is using Integrity Advocate. You don't need to install anything.

You can proceed to your exam straight away following the steps below under 'Where do I find my exam?'

 

Where do I find my exam? 

Your exam is available in your CAFE exam site. Go to the Exam tab, then select Exam access.

 

I couldn't share my screen

  1. Ensure you have unplugged any additional monitors, alternatively ensure you have duplicated your screen. Multiple displays/extending screen is not permitted.
  2. At the sharing screen step ensure you have selected the Entire screen tab, then click on the selected screen, the Share button will activate in blue, then click on Share.

 

My webcam is not working

  1. Ensure the webcam has been turned on. 
  2. If you cannot see yourself in the system check, you may need to give your browser permission to access your webcam. Click on the symbol next to the camera icon to view the video instructions on how to do this.

 

I was kicked from my exam 

You can return to your exam by returning to your CAFE exam site and clicking on Exam Exam access, then click on your exam.

 

I was kicked from my exam after a comfort break - Webcam issues

  1.  Clear the cache in your web browser, read the instructions linked here for a guide 
  2.  Access your exam from by returning to your CAFE exam site and clicking on Exam Exam access, then click on your exam.
