Sharing Documents using OneDrive
Share with specific users
Files can be shared with both Deakin users and external users:
- Log on to https://deakin365-my.sharepoint.com/
- Navigate to My Files.
- Select the file you wish to share and click on the Share icon.
- Enter the Email address of the user, select edit or view access by clicking on the dropdown menu marked with a pencil icon, add a message and click Send.

Share with all Deakin users including Staff, Students and Visitors
- Follow steps 1-3 from the previous section.
- At step 4 click People you specify can edit or Select Link settings(cog icon) to open the settings.
- Now select People in Deakin University, select edit or view access by clicking on the dropdown menu marked with a pencil icon under More settings.

- Click Apply
To allow users to only view and not edit uncheck Allow editing. |
