How do I forget a Wi-Fi network on my personal Mac?


If you have previously connected to eduroam and are now having trouble re-connecting, you may need to remove the saved eduroam settings and reconfigure the connection.

Remove the eduroam Credentials

For more information on removing Keychain, please refer to the Apple support guide

 

  1. Select Spotlight (Magnifying Glass in the top right corner of the screen), enter Keychain Access and if prompted, select to go to Keychain Access.
      

  2. On the left side of the window, select the login Keychain and the All Items Category.
      

  3. Delete any listed items mentioning "eduroam" (likely just eduroam.deakin.edu.au certificate and eduroam 802.1X Password).


  4. Enter your Mac password if prompted.

Remove eduroam Profile

macOS 26.3 or later

  1. Open System Settings.

  2. Go to General, and then open Device Management.

  3. Select the eduroam profile and select the minus (-) button in the bottom left corner of the containing section.

      

  4. Enter your Mac password if prompted.
