LastPass Inc, have deprecated the native LastPass app for Mac. This app provided full access to a LastPass vault without using a web browser.

Instruction to replace LastPass Password Manager (Mac desktop app) with LastPass for Safari
Note that these instructions are also included in the LastPass for Safari app panel.
Open Safari- Go to the Safari menu and choose Settings.
- Click the Extensions tab and select the checkbox next to "LastPass for Safari" and click the button “Always Allow on Every Website…”
- Select “Always Allow on Every Website” option to confirm.
- Now close the extension page.
- Login to LastPass for Safari by opening safari browser.
- Select LastPass extension in the safari browser
- One the login screen enters your Deakin primary email address this will take you to SSO page to complete the Authentication. More details on accessing LastPass can be found here - IT Help - LastPass Enterprise – Account Setup Instructions (Staff)
- Once logged in, click the LastPass extension in the Safari toolbar to access your vault.
